We’re all piling in the car to head to Knoxville for the day tomorrow. You can check us out on the radio on WDVX at Noon, stream it from anywhere in the world. Then at 10pm we’ve got a show at Barley’s. Hopefully out for some hiking in those beautiful mountains between shows.
We’re excited and honored to announce that we’re going to be a part of the 38th LEAF Festival, May 8-11th, 2014 in Black Mountain, North Carolina. LEAF’s mission to enrich life by connecting cultures and creating community through music and art makes this a festival that we’re stoked to get behind. The Alex Krug Combo will be bringing deeply inspired musical sets to LEAF in celebration. More info to come.
What a sweet show at Pisgah Brewing. You can download a free live recording of it. Go to http://www.pisgahbrewing.com/ and click on where it says Download Past Shows, then find our name on the list of shows and click it!!
We’re announcing a ‘For Love of Beer & Mountains‘ Partnership Party, Friday, December 13, 2013, 6:00pm – 8:00pm @ Highland Brewing Company
Free music show in Celebration of the partnership between Highland Brewing Company, Southern Appalachian Highland Conservancy and US Fish & Wildlife Service with the aim to protect our priceless Southern Appalachian Mountains. To celebrate the Combo will be donating %10 of their evening income to SAHC.
Alex and the Combo are so inspired by businesses that serve the community as a whole. Highland’s relationship with SAHC & USFWS is a great example of the fun and creativity that can happen. The partnership of ‘for-profit’ business with a non profit org. and a government agency in order to preserve and restore our land is life giving to our area for so many reasons. We hope that other businesses will take initiative and create their own partnerships with non profit’s that resonate with them. Our communities need companies that see the bigger picture. Come celebrate the ‘Love of Beer & Mountains’ with us!
